Activate root

Requirements:

  • Light Phone III (TLP301, firmware 00WW_1_440000).
  • LightOS v582 or later.
  • Desktop Chrome or Edge.

1. Enable USB debugging

  1. In the Phone tool, dial *7412369#.
  2. Open Settings → Debug and enable Android Dev Mode.
  3. In Android’s Developer options, enable USB debugging.

2. Install Prism

Connect the phone to your computer. Select it below and accept the USB debugging prompt on the phone.

3. Start Shizuku

In Prism, install Shizuku when prompted. Then select your phone below to start it over USB.

4. Activate root

  1. In Prism, install ReSukiSU when prompted and allow access when Shizuku asks.
  2. Tap Root. Wait for Prism to return automatically and show Root Status: Active.
  3. In ReSukiSU, open Superuser, find Shell, and enable its superuser access.

5. Check root access

Prism’s root access ends when the phone restarts. Keep it running for the next step.
