Restore stock firmware

What this can do:

  • Restore stock LightOS from this guide’s LightOS with root or LineageOS.
  • Restore the active slot, including the original system image when returning from LineageOS.
  • Optionally relock the bootloader after verifying the restoration.

Requirements:

  • Light Phone III (TLP301, firmware 00WW_1_440000).
  • Unlocked bootloader.
  • Root and Shell access granted in ReSukiSU.
  • Desktop Chrome or Edge.

1. Download the release

Includes the original LightOS system, boot and verification images.

2. Enter fastboot

Connect the phone with USB debugging and Shell root access granted in ReSukiSU. The tool checks the installed firmware and restarts into fastboot.

3. Restore LightOS

Select your phone again in fastboot. Keep the phone connected while installing.

4. Set up and verify stock LightOS

  1. Once LightOS starts, connect to Wi-Fi and update LightOS to v582 or later.
  2. In the Phone tool, dial *7412369#.
  3. Open Settings → Debug and enable Android Dev Mode, then enable USB debugging in Android's Developer options.
  4. Activate Prism root and grant Shell access in ReSukiSU.
  5. Connect the phone and verify the restored firmware below.

5. Enter fastboot to relock

Connect the phone with Prism root and Shell access. The tool verifies stock firmware before restarting into fastboot.

6. Relock the bootloader

Select your phone again in fastboot. Press Volume Down once, then the lock button to confirm. Relocking erases your data and restarts the phone into LightOS.
